Introducing LABpen® MED, a soft laser device designed for applications in laser therapy and laser acupuncture.
LABpen® MED - For Laser Therapy & Acupuncture
The high-quality LABpen® MED is a portable and battery-operated soft laser device specifically designed for applications in laser therapy and laser acupuncture. The divergent, elliptical laser beam provides the wide-range irradiation required for laser therapy. Complex electronics ensure a consistent and regulated laser light output .
The treatment time and status can be read on the integrated display at any time. The timer can be conveniently adjusted from 10 seconds to 15 minutes, enabling comfortable and efficient work. Thanks to various additional tips, the LABpen® MED offers versatile application possibilities.
The LABpen® MED is ideal for treating musculoskeletal diseases such as chronic joint pain. Additionally, it can be used in dermatology for the treatment of chronic wounds and can be administered with or without direct skin contact.
The reliable LABpen® MED is characterised above all by its analgesic effect, which contributes to pain reduction. At the same time, it has anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous properties and has a biostimulatory effect that stimulates tissue metabolism. Investing in the LABpen® MED means acquiring one of the most versatile and effective therapy devices available. The soft laser is the first of its kind in Europe to be MDR certified and complies with Regulation (EU) 2017/745.

Principles of Laser Therapy
Analgesic Effect
Local pain relief through anti-inflammatory action, stimulates ß-endorphin production
Activates wide, myelinated A-fibers and blocks narrow pain pathways (A and C)
Anti-Inflammatory & Anti-Edematous Effect
Influences the cells' natural defense mechanisms via phagocytosis stimulation
Biostimulatory Effect
Stimulates ATP production in mitochondria. Increased ATP availability stimulates protein synthesis in ribosomes, enhancing healing
Cell division increases after irradiation. This promotes nerve regrowth, blood vessel regeneration, and enhanced wound healing
Physical Mechanism
The described principles depend on sufficient penetration of laser light into tissue. This depth of penetration is influenced by energy density and wavelength of the laser light.
