The Mini Spike 2 dispensing pin from BBraun is particularly hygienic to use since the valve can be easily disinfected, while the integrated, bacteria-tight aeration filter provides great contamination prevention. Furthermore, the Safeflow valve allows for bubble-free withdrawal with a syringe and from hanging infusion bottles. The Mini Spike 2 dispensing pin is available in various colour-coded versions such as the standard version (green), filter version (blue) with the additional particle filter adnd the chemo version (red) with a particle filter and an extra fine aeration filter.
