Suture Training Arm

This skin suture trainer is a soft, life-size anatomical model of an arm that is covered in a special artificial skin. The suture trainer allows surgical suturing and knotting techniquesto be practised under realistic conditions.

A special hard foam forms the base of the skin suture trainer, and the skin is made of special PVC that feels very realistic and has the same properties of human skin when suturing. Thanks to a special moulding technology, even details such as the nail beds of the fingers and lines in the palm are clearly visible. The angles of a lying human arm and characteristics such as the wrist and the path of the blood vessels are also realistically modeled. Compared with skin suture training pads, blocks or cuts of material, this suture training arm has the advantage of providing very realistic training conditions.

The suture trainer comes delivered with pre-cut wounds and cuts, which can be repeatedly sutured, stapled or tacked. It is also possible to make additional cuts, if required.

To facilitate storage and transportation, the suture training arm comes in a carrying case, which also provides space for sutures.
